Surprisingly not busy on a Wednesday evening. Food was quite good: the pork belly bites were fantastic! The pineapple butter was a perfect foil to the richness of the pork. Such a revelation! The sticky chicken was also good; I had asked for blue cheese dressing on the side to add a bit of creaminess, but it was good otherwise. Skin was crunchy and crispy, with a bit of spice ( hence the dressing request), so buyer, beware! Our server left us a bit wanting for more...hardly checked in on us in spite of it being a bit slow, though he did get excited talking about some of his favorites on the menu. Restrooms are quite cute, all the way to the end downstairs. Would definitely go back again for the food, and would be willing to give "service" another try.

Stopped by The Butcher and The Brewer, yesterday, during their 10th Anniversary Party. I'm working on my Cleveland Brewery Passport and needed to check in, this was the perfect time. The Sticky Fried Chicken was so good. The skin was perfectly crispy, yet the meat was still moist. I enjoy honey on my food. This dish was sweet and sticky but not too sweet. I'd definitely order again. Not pictured was my Midnight Oil Stout.

The business model for B-and-the-B is based on fun, and we certainly had fun experiencing what may be the evolving future of the 21st century brew pub scene. The lively venue was abuzz with people, well, getting buzzed. B-and-the-B sports a very extensive beer and cocktails menu, as well as an interesting and surprisingly delicious rundown of tapas-style small shareable plates of food. Most of the food items were in ther $10 or $15 range, making it all too tempting to order several shareable ones for a table. We scanned a credit card on arrival, and then were able to watch - and manage - our tab on our phones. A lot of food and drink, speedily arrived and with minimal involvement by the just-attentive enough wait-staff. Make no mistake. This is not gormet dining. Some of the dishes shared blackening ingredients coming out of the kitchen. Making them just spicy enough and just tasty enough, but somewhat similar to one another. You're here for the suds and the atmosphere, and the fun of the ordering process, more than for the gourmet dining. We made reservations, which even on a weeknight in the summer seemed wise. Two nights later we tried to return without a reservation and could not get near the place. B-and-the-B is popular, deservedly so. Oh and parking - fuhgetta about it! Arrive on foot and be happy you have no need for a designated driver!

Butcher and the Brewer was a great spot to stop off for some shareable dishes & some delicious cocktails or brews. Located downtown Cleveland by the House of Blues, there is plenty to do in this area after you enjoy your eats & drinks! We opted for a variety of dishes; brussel sprouts, kimchini balls, carrots dressed to the nines, fried chicken wings. All were made to perfection and satisfies our hungry palates. The cocktails were next level delicious. The server was attentive, suggestive, helpful, and down to earth. We really enjoyed this restaurant. Perfect for date night, family dining, groups. You may set a reservation before arriving! Give Butcher & the Brewer a whirl. You will leave satisfied!
